1600 Wynkoop Columbia Group LLLP was formed in 1973 by Jerry Glick to develop and own real estate properties in the Denver Metropolitan Area. The company developed a number of properties including the renovation and adaptive reuse of buildings and sites in Lower Downtown Denver, new buildings in the same neighborhood, properties in Denver’s Upper Larimer District, Baker neighborhood, and the Highlands Neighborhood adjacent to downtown.

Columbia Group is affiliated with Urban Ventures LLC, which develops dense urban multi-family and affordable housing in the core of the city. Columbia Group and Urban Ventures jointly formed a non-profit affiliate, Workforce Housing Initiatives LLC, which develops and fosters affordable housing.

Jerry Glick is also active in operating businesses primarily in the healthcare services industries. He is active in community organizations including having served as Chairman of the Denver Urban Renewal Authority, Chairman of Denver Civic Ventures, and Chairman of the Management Committee of The Downtown Denver Partnership. He is currently Chairman of The Rose Community Foundation, Vice President of the Denver Union Station Project Authority, and a member of the Colorado Forum.


In 2012, Jerry’s son Fred Glick joined the organization. Fred is also an active community volunteer, currently serving as Board Chair of the Academy of Urban Learning, a Denver charter school serving at-risk youth. Fred is also a member of the Mile High Connects Advisory Council and the Exhibitions Committee of RedLine Gallery and previously led the Learning Spaces Committee at Denver Shared Spaces. As a non-profit consultant, Fred was instrumental in establishing the Aurora Welcome Center, a shared space serving immigrants and refugees.
